| For a project in my fashion class, I tend to be the leader (as far as
initiating work). I usually tend to divide the work into different
parts and set up deadlines so that we won't have to meet up outside of
class. I hate group meetings, nothing ever gets done. At least in the
real workforce people have jobs on the line. Anyway, I noticed that
when I let others choose which sections they would like be respobsible
for, they don't hesitate to pick the easiest one for themselves. I have
three other members in my group and it went the same way for all of
them. Naturally, I ended up with the more vague topic which would
require more thought. Honestly, if someone were to let me pick a topic
I wouldn't have picked the easiest one....I would feel some sense of
shame...if that makes any sense. Oh well, one more go at this group
project for a class that is so pointless....
I can't wait to graduate yet at the same time I feel a smidge of dread.
Still, graduating from college is going to be a real milestone for
me...these past five years have gone by SO quickly compared to the
never ending four years of high school. Perhaps time flew because I
wasn't just concentrating on school....I had jobs that took over most
of my spare time. In high school, I didn't do jack squat. I know others
who either worked part-time in high school or took on extracurricular
activities. I remember just coming home, doing homework and then
watching TV. Yes, I had a schedule =) Buffy, Friends, Dawson's Creek,
Will & Grace....good times.
Enough about my rambling I still have four weeks left of school.....with major senioritis!!!

| While listening to JT's song, I thought to myself how easy it is for
the person scorned to say these words to the person who has hurt them.
They say it with the comfort in knowing that payback will happen. It is
essentially a chain effect, yes? Well, if what goes around really does
come around then what did JT do in the past that made his misery come
true?

| During a person's high school years, most people don't really talk to
people outside of their clique. Sure, you may have side conversations
and brief moments with others but it is nothing too meaningful. What is
interesting is that when you are in the real world (so to speak) where
nobody knows your name and you by chance discover a person that went to
your old high school, is from your old neighborhood...etc, you become
instant friends. In other words, you get to be on that person's good
side.
Then why is it that when we see familiar faces from our past, we act
like we don't know the person? For me, I tend to do this because it
would be a real uncomfortable feeling if that person does not remember
who I am. Plus, you have to talk about the oh-so fun topic, "so what
are you up to now?"
